Despite being remarkable for my youthful appearance and joyful outlook, I've worked in IT since dinosaurs roamed the earth and remember when security meant locking the comms room door.

I tend toward disapproval of stuff, generally. It used to be all trees round here.

I find, or invent, interesting security related topics to discuss and will take a look at specific breaches if I think they're notable, thought provoking or funny.

I'll try and avoid the unironic use of phrases like "next-gen", "T-shaped" or "shift-left".  Oh and "transformation". I actually dislike the prefix "cyber" in relation to security, but that ship has sailed and not a hill I'm willing to die on.

I have a weekly hard cap on the number of times we can say "AI".  When we reach that cap we have to replace "AI" with "Noel Edmonds", which focuses the mind. "Powered by Noel Edmonds" .

I have some friends in the business and you can expect to see a guest contribution every now and then and, indeed, feel free to get in touch with your own ranting and I'll publish it here if it's not completely insane.
